  To a mid-19th century Fireplace Fender with pierced and embossed center enclosed by iron and wrapped in brass. This antique has been hand polished & treated with conservation lacquer which can easily be removed. (#0460)

Clock, Tall Case, English Oak, 18th century

  An 18th century English oak long case clock. period c.1760. The case of finely figured woods with rich mouldings to the bonnet. The door has a glass oculus. The eight day movement strikes the hours and has a date of the month indicator. The case retains good color and has repairs and restorations as usual. The Boss to the clock dial is not signed. (#0462)

Andirons, Brass & Iron, Pierced Galleries, American, c.1780

  A pair of c.1780-1800 American brass fireplace andirons with pierced galleries and two fireplace tools. All in good condition from the New York area with wave or scroll motive to gallery. These andirons have rich neoclassic spires with diced trim and running rope engraving. The pedastols are octagangle in form and are supported on spurred legs ending in ball feet. It is most rare to find an Ameican set of andirons of this quality together with matching tools, wich comprise an iron and brass set of tongs and an iron and brass shovel with worn bottom. The brass decoration on the andirons and tools has been hand cleaned and laquered. (#0477)

Trammel, Wrought Iron

  To an 18th c. hand wrought adjustable iron trammel, the one end with large loop to cover a green pole which was placed above the cooking hearth. The lower end has a smaller hook for holding cooking pots or kettles, which could be adjusted according to the height of the fire. Closed length of 3'. (#0494)

Clock, Crystal Regulator, /w cut glass decoration, c. 1900

  A crystal gilt brass regulator clock. With two train movement. Period c. 1900 with faux diamond decoration to case and pendulum. The dial is finely painted with neoclassic swags and the gilt hands are finely pierced. The clock strikes the hours and halves on a tuned gong. (#0523)

Sideboard, Regency Mahogany, English, c.1820-1830

  A rare small English mahogany sideboard of the late Regency period c.1820-1830. Having one central drawer and two side cupboards containing other drawers. The central drawer is fitted for silver flatware use. This small piece is constructed of beautiful crotch mahogany veneer over oak and pine secondary woods. The saber legs are handcarved and the piece is a rare find in such small size. It has been French polished and is all in first class condition. (#0546)

  To a rare set of 3 transom windows. A half round top and two rectangular sides. The units are costructed of wood and are mounted with original cast lead apex oranment. A rare set glazed with period glass. This set has had some repairs and restorations. Measurements: Top Light 67 3/4" wide x 34" high. Side Lights 10 3/4" wide x 54 1/2" high. (#0596)

Fireback, 18th C. signed "Hereford Furnace"

  To a rare Pennsylvania cast iron fireback or stove plate made at Hereford Furnace. The fireback is decorated with flowers and fillagree. This fireback is dated 1757 and has a good clear image along with one stress crack. (#0670)

  To a good quality early 19th century French architectural clock with four columns. The ebonized wood clock is mounted with gilt bronze ornaments. And the dial and pendulum are mounted with floral motives. The two train eight day movement has time and strike. In good working order. (#0673)

Pediment, Carved,Triangular /w Birds, 19th Century

  To a highly carved late 19th century triangular pedament with weathered surface. This architectural element has been hand scraped to reveal the original tool marks of the artist. It originally was a timpanum ornament from a house in Alabama. It is unusual to see animal motifs in domestic artchitecture in the late 19th c. These make wonderful wall dcor. (#0718)

Stool, Carved Walnut, English George I, c.1730-1740

  To a fine and rare English Queen Ann or George I. Walnut stool with rich surface and patina. This example is carved with the acanthus leaves to the knees. Also with "C" scrolls and piped cabriole legs ending in pad feet. The stool has a removable slip seat which is covered in a rich, modern damask and has been reinforced with modern blocks under the seat. As with good English examples, which were subject to woodwork, this particular example has minor repairs and restorations. (#0740)

  To a carved pine victorian triangular pediment of the circa 1880 period. Carved and decocated with applied fillagree detail.
