To a highly carved late 19th century triangular pedament with weathered surface. This architectural element has been hand scraped to reveal the original tool marks of the artist. It originally was a timpanum ornament from a house in Alabama. It is unusual to see animal motifs in domestic artchitecture in the late 19th c. These make wonderful wall dcor. |
