A good set of neoclassic revival side chairs with secondary wood of beech. The chairs retain the original framed slipseats, which are over covered in silk. The crest rails are turned in a rope design with acorns between the styles. An inlaid rail crosses the styles and below is a hand carved anthemion and shell above foliage. The saber legs are inlaid as are all of the front styles. |
